How is UVM Hillel Funded?
UVM Hillel is funded by parents, the local community and alumni. We have no Jewish Federation in Vermont and therefore no federation funding. We receive Student Government Association Funding for some activities, but as the number of students attending events and the number of events has grown, maintaining a great program requires more funds. To fully serve the approximately 1400 Jewish students on campus, we need your support. Every gift matters!
UVM Hillel Jewish Parents Association
The UVMJP is a great way for you (and your student) to stay connected to the UVM Jewish Community and to support Jewish life on campus!

Jewish Continuity is what supporting Jewish life at UVM is all about. Creating and maintaining open, welcoming and engaging Jewish communal space and enabling students to access Jewish traditions and learning, mentorship, leadership opportunities and dynamic community is central to the mission of UVM Hillel. We are committed to excellence, innovation, and accountability and we know you are too! Your generous gift will help make this all possible.

Leadership Circle**
A deep commitment!
$500 - $999
Jewish Leadership skills training is at the heart of every opportunity students are offered through UVM Hillel. National conferences, leadership retreats, student leadership board, event planning, lectures by prominent Jewish speakers, internships, volunteer opportunities, alternative break trips and Israel travel are just a few ways that UVM Hillel enables students to acquire and practice real life leadership skills at UVM. Your donation at this level will help build the Jewish leaders of tomorrow, today.

Celebration Circle***
Keeping Jewish traditions vibrant!
$180 - $499
Jewish Holiday Celebrations are an important way in which UVM Hillel serves as a home-away-from-home for Jewish Students at UVM. Significant funding is needed to support weekly Shabbat celebrations (including dinner!) and Jewish Holiday events throughout the year. Hiring Rabbis for High Holidays, providing holiday meals and Passover seders, not to mention putting on fantastic Chanukkah, Purim and Tu b’Shevat celebrations all take the combined efforts of students, staff and parents like you! Thank you for your support!
