After a very successful first semester, we are excited to offer the Jewish Learning Fellowship again! We will be offering one class on Sunday evenings, and one class on Wednesday Nights that is tailored for members of the Fraternity and Sorority Life community.
JLF is a 10-week experimental, conversation-style learning opportunity for students looking to deepen their understanding of Judaism on their own terms. In the Sunday class, we are interested in asking the big questions. You know, the big stuff - like Who am I? What communities am I a part of? What work am I committing myself too, and why? Our job is to help you explore the tradition in a safe space and find your connection to Judaism, on your terms.
For the FSL class, we will be using Jewish texts to explore and discuss some big life questions specific to the FSL community such as how is philanthropy a Jewish value?, what does Judaism say about leadership? And who am I and what do I want to accomplish in college? This is a great opportunity to build deep relationships with other members of the FSL community and connect Jewish teachings to things you are experiencing on a daily basis.
Apply today! Every week we will provide dinner and at the end of the semester you will receive a $300 stipend for completing the course.
